Day 1: The Plane of Pain

On the day we left, was the day I pretty much first talked to anyone on this trip not knowing anyone was a little un-easy to how well I was going to get along so after a rather interesting bag checking process and going through international security (surprisingly easier than domestic travel) I went to the Swiss air gate, upon doing so I ran into the first few people in the group. Anticipating a long flight we ate our first meal together at the Mexican Cafe in the SFO terminal. This was a crucial and fun time because it’s when we all met each other and doing so was very fun having a few drinks and hearing every ones background in the wine industry.
On the flight in I was un-able to sleep the entire flight explaining the title being cramped in the seat for 11 hour was painful, and then arriving in Zurich was very interesting seeing their subways in the airport. After a short 50-minute hop we arrived in beautiful Florence.
