“I have an itch in my bun”

January 10, 2013-Katie Mathews

Unfortunately, the converter I brought for my hair straightener did not work properly and I blew a fuse in the first hotel. So for the rest of the trip, Noam was kind enough to express her creativity and did my hair almost everyday since! This was one of my favorite hairstyles she did for me and she said she made it up as she went. At one point with Noam and Danny, I said to them that I had an itch in my bun, referring to my hair. Danny completely misunderstood the context of what I was saying and started cracking up. We had so many of these moments that are too funny to forget.
We had a great time at the butcher shop demonstration and got to eat some delicious meat. Then the slow food lunch was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed all the fresh dishes, especially the pastas. All the wine was good as well and some of us even had some prosecco. I think everyone was having a fun time conversing and eating so much amazing food. After all, our trip was coming to an end and we needed to enjoy the last remaining hours.
