Where’s Noam?

January 9, 2013-Katie Mathews

After one of the longest days consisting of a two and a half hour bus ride first thing in the morning, tasting at Sassacaia and Ornellaia, then the drive back to Florence, everyone was exhausted. I know many of us found any opportunity to sleep on the bus between stops just to function properly. The day was an amazing experience having the chance to visit some of the most pronounced wineries in Italy and tasting some outstanding wines. By the end of the day, we were all ready to go check in to our hotel and relax. It was dark by the time we got back on the bus after Ornellaia, so my plan was to fall asleep on the ride back to Florence.
I woke up right as we touched down in Florence and was excited to be back in the town we began our trip in. I looked over on the other side of the bus from me, and this is what I found. Noam was fast asleep and almost completely hidden under her coat. I had to get a picture of this because at first I did not see her face so I couldn’t even tell there was a body there! It was a funny moment in time and added to the enjoyment of the trip.
